Safe disposal and storage methods
Disposal: 1. Use inflammable liquid storage containers in the workplace. 2. Keep away from sparks and fire sources when used, and clearly mark non-smoking. 3. Use in a minimum amount in a designated place with good ventilation. 4. Have emergency response devices available at any time to extinguish fires and deal with leaks. 5. Containers must be marked and closed when not in use; Empty drums may still have hazardous residues.
Storage: 1. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place without direct sunlight. 2. Keep away from fire. 3. Use ventilation systems and electrical equipment that do not generate sparks and are grounded to avoid becoming a source of ignition. 4. Store in appropriate containers with roll labels and avoid damage to containers. 5. Unused containers and empty drums should be tightly covered. 6. Consider installing a leak detection and alarm system if necessary. 7. Limited storage and restricted personnel to enter the area, with warning signs. 8. Storage areas shall be separated from workspaces with intensive staff. 9. Check for leakage and damage regularly. 10. Immediate fire-fighting equipment shall be provided in and near the storage area. 11. Comply with relevant regulations for the storage and handling of flammable or expendable materials.
